House of Rejoicing
(formerly Temple of Divine Radiance) is a modern online re-activation of the temple of Nanna / Sīn, the Mesopotamian moon god, once located at Harran.
Come be blessed by "the shining gods" as you bask in joyful Sumerian and Akkadian ritual, ancestral reverence and loving communion with Those Who Came Before.

For 2500 years,
Nanna's temple E.Hul.Hul or House of Rejoicing was a beloved destination for cyclical rites and astral wisdom, guarded by a group of en or priestesses, and led by an entu or high priestess who served as Nanna's ritual wife.

It is my joy to once again open this space as a sanctuary for connection, reverence and healing with the ancestors of Sumer and Akkad, the root spiritual ancestors behind our modern Abrahamic religious traditions.
Join me live or online for:
Religious History
Courses and workshops featuring comparative theology amongst Sumer and Akkad, early Israel and Anatolia, and later Abrahamic religious record. We re-read the Hebrew matriarchs as priestesses and the patriarchs as Goddess-worshippers.
Drum & Voice Healing
Private sessions, workshops and events featuring human voice and the ancient frame drum. These simple, powerful vibrations bring the human body vessel "into rhythm" with its own life purpose and activate greater creativity and fertility.
Inner Alchemy
Private coaching, workshops and events guiding women to embody the Goddess within and come into union with King energy (men, money, mission and the Divine Masculine) so they can experience a natural flow of wealth, health and love.
Come. Sit awhile.
Can you hear the ancestors speaking?
Echoes of rituals past. Whispers of chanted prayers. The tinkle of ankle bells on priestesses, dancing on bricks of clay.
Mesopotamia holds ancient medicine, so long suppressed.
Are you ready to hear ... and receive?
Before the rise of "desert religions" ...
like Judaism, Christianity and Islam ... Anatolia, the Middle East and North Africa were alive with verdant earth-based spiritual traditions and temples to the sun, moon and stars.
Echoes of these earlier spiritualities are still present, yet intentionally hidden, in modern patriarchal religious practice.
House of Rejoicing supports spiritual origin-seekers to remember this pre-religious earth-based heritage by reviving temple traditions from Mesopotamia, Canaan and Arabia.
Our honored ancestral guides ...
are the En priestesses of Ur in Mesopotamia, (of whom Sarah Abraham's wife may have been one), the qadosha priestesses of the Israelite temple, and the kahina priestesses of Arabia.
We also honor the holy mothers, saints, prophets and their wives, and other notable figures of all Abrahamic religions as spirit guides.

The land speaks ...
Working with Nanna / Sīn has drawn me deep into spiritual archaeology and into a living relationship with ancient soil.
My work in the school takes me between the 5000-year-old ruins of Harran, in Türkiye, where Sīn powerful temple stood ... and the rugged beauty of Sinai, where he was venerated on mountainsides under a canopy of stars.
Both lands are rich with the energy of Nanna/Sīn. Here, every stone has a story and the ground yields secrets to those who listen. I find potent medicine for fertility, sexual healing, wealth, sacred love and belovedness ... and the growth of my capacity to be, a holder of paradox in an increasingly polarized world.
This is the ancient practice of shuv l'makom (שוב למקום) or "returning to the place" of divine presence ...
because place is medicine for the soul.
