The truth is …
Spirit guides have always existed in our Abrahamic religious traditions. They just tend to come by other names (ie: matriarch, ancestor, mother, wife of a prophet, or saint).
In the old Mesopotamian and Hebrew traditions, the realm of the dead was thought of as a place the ancestors went. There was no notion of “eternal life.” One’s legacy was one’s form of eternality. And … for women especially, the ancestral realm has been always accessible.
But the problem is …
Mainstream monotheistic religion discourages and even forbids us
from seeking help from these ever-present consciousnesses — as if doing so somehow puts us “out of touch” with God.
You grow up in an environment where there were lots of spiritual
“role models” from the past, but not so many “ancestral guides.” In fact, there’s possibly a rift in your consciousness that says that if a spiritual mother has passed on, she might deserve to be preserved in a book or stained glass window … but she is not accessible to you for your own journey.
Now, it's time to cross the divide between the living and ancestral realms, and feel embraced by ALL our mothers from our many-stranded spiritual family.

This mini-immersion is a joy for me to offer, mostly because it took me MANY years to truly understand how much inter-dimensional love and support was available to me in my journey as a woman in service.
I grew up in a modern denomination of Christianity … evangelicalism … which emphasized stories of biblical women but frowned on the practice of "praying to saints." Then, I began traveling to biblical lands, and the Holy Mothers met me everywhere.
Finally, I realized that all the Mesopotamian and Biblical women whose stories lit my path, weren’t just historical figures or ancestors. They were also guides, generously reaching out to me across the dimensional divide, to be in relationship.
