Theme: Blessing in Her Hands -- the Feminine Medicine of HAMSA

Essential oils: Frankincense & Sandalwood

Chants: Hebrew, Kemetic (Egyptian) & Arabic

Rhythms: Clap, snap & hand-based body rhythms

Art: Hand anointing and painting

As we enter the deep gratitude of November, the sacred current moves from heart to hand.

Gestures that once felt like receiving now reveals themselves as sacred flow — protection becoming offering, offering becomes blessing.

The Feminine knows this wisdom through her palms.
Her hands teach her to guard what is holy, to receive freely, to pass on what she’s received, and to let grace move through her body like light through water.

Since the temples of early Mesopotamia, the Hamsa — the Hand of the Goddess has been a feminine sign of blessing and protection across the desert, invoking Her power even long after Her name was forgotten.

Through the ancient hand of Hathor, the Jewish Hand of Miriam, the Muslim Hand of Fatima and Mother Mary's iconic gestures in sacred art, this symbol continues to carry the same silent wisdom in our own day:

the hand as vessel of grace -- a flow of receiving and giving.

In November's SERAI: A Blessing in Her Hands event, you will:

  • Explore the ancient goddess "hand teachings" of Hathor, Miriam, Mary and Fatima — symbols of protection, blessing, and gratitude.

  • Awaken the flow of giving and receiving through sacred hand and body percussion — no instruments, only the rhythm of your own flesh.

  • Learn simple desert gestures of light language that anchor you in sovereignty and devotion.

  • Experience modern takes on ages-old practices of anointing and painting of the hands as a ritual of feminine power and grace.

  • Enter a living rhythm circle where gratitude becomes movement, and every touch becomes prayer.

About the Serai series:

Have you journeyed far from your original spiritual home?

If you're a sensitive, spiritually nomadic woman born into one of the world's great desert traditions*... finding true kin and community can feel like a wander in the desert.
*Judaism, Christianity or Islam

Join me for this edition of a monthly gathering that celebrates the feminine heart and goddess roots of all three traditions.

Vibration is a thread that runs through all three traditions, as a tool for healing, blessing and expansion.

I believe this musical medicine is best experienced for yourself... when you chant, clap, drum and move inside your own body. (Rather than simply receiving it passively through listening.) That's why I created Serai to be interactive.

In each month's SERAI gathering you will:

- Explore a little Divine Feminine herstory, customs and practice from the desert traditions.

- Experience new ways to chant, pray, express your devotion to the Divine by all His & Her names.

- Expand your sense of connection, joy and blessing, even as you pursue your unique spiritual path.

"Such a beautiful journey for me to finally have landed here. It's been my soul's calling, and what a journey we all take to find our roots."

- Ayesha G., Virginia USA

When you join for this month's SERAI gathering you will ...

Release physical and emotional pain

Your voice, your hands and body have consciousness. They are a powerful vibrational tool for altering the frequency of your body, emotions and aura--enabling dis-ease to be released.

Realign your relationship with your birth tradition

Many of us have left religious practice with no feminine face. When we restore Divine Feminine readings and practice to our original tradition, we give ourselves permission to create a new story.

Recommit to your own unique journey

This event is not designed to call you back to any mainstream religion... but rather to help you feel anchored and loved as you roam spiritually in the way you are called and shape your own path.

Included in each event are:

  • Teachings from feminine wisdom in Jewish Kabbalah, esoteric Christianity, Islamic Sufism and the region's older temple traditions

  • Connections to the Mesopotamian, Arabian, Levantine and Egyptian priestess lineages who left their mark on later Abrahamic religions

  • Chants in sacred languages like Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic... with explanations to uncover the meaning

  • Desert drum rhythms and tunes used for centuries by women for healing purposes

  • Movement practices and artistic experiences to invite the body into our devotion and prayer

  • Accessible content for all desert heritages, respectful of each tradition's distinctions

  • A replay of the video and a copy of any chant texts / drum rhythms / slides.

"Gentle healing. This is how I would describe the effects of Lisa Moriah's work in my life. The shifts have been, in most cases, subtle enough. One wakes up one day and realizes that something inside of them is different. Working through the chant course especially has been invaluable, and I leave most replays with an incredible activation or download."
