Our biblical lineage is anchored in the primal womb power and raw feminine energy of SHADDAI, a forgotten Mesopotamian Goddess.
Featured in the oldest biblical books of Genesis and Job, SHADDAI calls us to an earthy, shamanic spirituality:
one rooted in natural rhythms, body wisdom, and those primal feminine archetypes often called “dark.”.
SHADDAI was worshipped as a Dark Goddess by our first patriarchs and prophets. Among Her devotees we also find Sexual Priestesses and Wild Women. Her presence in sacred text invites us to shape a new portrait of who and what a “devoted spiritual woman” can be.
Yet today, if you ask a pastor or rabbi about Shaddai as a Goddess, most will stare at you like you’ve lost your mind.

Growing up in a strict Baptist household, I was taught the Hebrew Bible from back to front, and the Christian testament as well. I also knew instinctively that "Goddess talk" was the biggest no-no of all in my childhood.
How amazing to experience Shaddai years later, as Her Presence "invaded" my life and patiently drew out my primal feminine power. At age 40, I found my way onto Her sacred land of Harran, Türkiye, where Abraham and Sarah lived.
Here, the Primal Feminine of SHADDAI gripped my heart and body. Through many encounters amid 5000 years of ruins, She pulled me down into my pelvic power—and never let go.
