The truth is …
Women from Abrahamic traditions have always nourished themselves with magickal feminine practices, and land-based water sources play a starring role in our cultivation of inner WELL-being.
From the priestesses and shamanesses of the Hebrew Bible, to the wonder-working female followers of Yeshua, to the wise wives of Prophet Mohammed .... "Women of the Book” have invented numerous ways to keep their Divine Feminine culture and practices alive inside traditional faith.
But the problem is …
Dominant religious culture frowns on magick, mystical practices and women’s traditions. All Abrahamic religions deny the presence of Goddess in their texts, even though She always appears in "water scenes."
For centuries, women have been shamed, discouraged and outright condemned for engaging in any practice that uses the elements of the earth (like wells and natural springs) to build relationship with the Divine or the Creation, or channel divine energies in a creative manner.
It’s time to change that story — and our heritage of water priestessing is the perfect place to begin.

This mini-immersion is a joy for me to offer, because travelling to wells on sacred land has changed my life in potent ways. Now, having settled in the magickal land of South Sinai, I am also surrounded by local wells that will feature in this mini-immersion.
From the cistern in Abraham’s birth cave in Şanlıurfa, to Rachel’s Well in Harran, to the well where Moses met his wife Zipporah below Mount Sinai (and more) … wells, natural springs, wadis and oases (even when dry) have been the most potent physical landmarks where the “veil is thin” and the spirit world has directly altered my everyday reality.
