Early Mesopotamian Goddess Names as Sound Portals to Wisdom, Healing & Power

A workshop to activate Her frequency in your body through historical wisdom, sacred language and somatic sound medicine

(and replay on demand)

In early times, people across Mesopotamia worshipped Goddess by many names, but understood Her as a single essence.

These names ... and the cultures from which they sprung ... offer us amazing insights into how our ancestors related to the Eternal Feminine. They also each contain a certain vibrational frequency, offering us a powerful and accessible form of "sound medicine" that is often overlooked as a healing tool.

Come encounter some of the most popular ancient Goddess names, and "step through the sound portal" to activate their frequency in your body through VOICE AND DRUM

Shlama! I'm Lisa Moriah ... shamanic priestess, somatic sound healer and coach following the ancient-future devotional path.

If you grew up in a church, synagogue or mosque ... you may be familiar with the concept of chanting or meditating on divine names. But this practice predates Abrahamic religion.

I grew up Christian, converted to Judaism and have lived in Muslim countries for the past seven years ... so Abrahamic tradition has been a big part of my life. It's also the beautiful "red thread" that led me back to my roots as priestess and devotee of the great Queen of Heaven -- GODDESS by all Her many Mesopotamian, Arabian and Levantine names.

One of the most healing and empowering practices I have ever done is studying the DIVINE NAMES OF GODDESS and then anchoring their frequencies in my body through simple sound healing practices that are accessible for anyone.

I am excited to experience this practice with you!

"What you teach gave me chills because it just made a puzzle piece fit more me, like you’ve just phrased something I understood within myself but hadn’t yet worded for myself consciously. I feel very deeply aligned with your teachings and understanding of the Goddess, it simply rings true for me."

This workshop is for you if you ...

  • Are drawn to the early Goddess Names of Mesopotamia, Arabia, Syria, Phoenicia, Anatolia and/or Israel

  • Come from a Jewish, Christian or Muslim background but feel like a "spiritual nomad" in your birth tradition (or even left it) because of your love for the Goddess

  • Are drawn to sound, voice and early instruments (like the frame drum) as tools for soothing, healing and re-membering your own wisdom

  • Are curious about early Sumerian, Akkadian or Babylonian wisdom streams as a "return to origins"

  • Are looking for more teaching to equip yourself for those conversations with family and friends who think you've gone mad for loving the Goddess :)

  • Are already on a priestess path and looking for more healing tools / techniques to help your path and use in your work with others

"Lady of all powers,
In whom light appears,
Radiant one
Beloved of Heaven and Earth,

Tiara-crowned
Priestess of the Highest God,
My Lady, you are the guardian
Of all greatness.

Your hand holds the seven powers:
You lift the powers of being,
You have hung them over your finger,
You have gathered the many powers,
You have clasped them now
Like necklaces onto your breast."

~ from A Hymn to Inanna, by Enheduanna, c. 2200 BCE

In this workshop, you will...

  • Understand how early peoples in Mesopotamia and the Middle East understood the Goddess and venerated Her various names throughout their region

  • Learn the theory behind sound, frequency and vibration as the key to various portals of divine connection and relationship

  • Encounter representative Goddess names from the region ... including Sumerian, Akkadian, Hebrew, Phoenician and Syriac names

  • Chant, sing, tone and move to these names in their original languages as a way of unlocking their wisdom, healing & power within you

  • Reflect on the experience and discern how you are being asked to create your own relationship with these different ancient and wonderful names.

  • Understand what to expect from this practice over time, what to notice in your body, and how to deepen as you gain skill / receive your own guidance

"Gentle healing. This is how I would describe the effects of Lisa Moriah's work in my life. The shifts have been, in most cases, subtle enough. One wakes up one day and realizes that something inside of them is different. Working through the chant course especially has been invaluable, and I leave most replays with an incredible activation or download. I am so glad I found Lisa Moriah and am thankful for the work she is doing in this world."
